What we do

Fundamentalsinfo compiles publicly available fundamental information on Indian listed companies — financial statements, concall transcripts, BSE and NSE filings, promoter activity, shareholding patterns and capex announcements — and turns it into structured, plain-English research that retail investors can actually read.

Every report is sourced from primary disclosures: exchange filings, audited annual reports, investor presentations and management commentary on earnings calls. We compress the noise, keep the signal, and trace every number back to where it came from.

We do not give buy, sell or hold recommendations. We are not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser or research analyst. Our job is to help you read a company well; the decision stays with you.

Why we built this

Indian retail investors are usually offered two things — spammy stock tips on one side, and dense broker reports written for institutions on the other. The middle ground, honest fundamentals-first analysis you can read in fifteen minutes, was missing. Fundamentalsinfo is an attempt to fill that gap: the kind of write-up an analyst friend would share with you over chai, not a sales pitch and not a wall of jargon.

About the founder

Fundamentalsinfo is founded and run by Akhil Malhotra, a Chartered Accountant based in the Tricity region of Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula. Akhil has spent several years tracking Indian small, mid and micro-cap companies, reading filings and listening to concalls — the unglamorous work that goes into understanding a business properly.

Outside the markets, Akhil is an active player in the Tricity cricket circuit. The site reflects both sides of him: the analytical patience of someone who reads annual reports for fun, and the plain-spoken communication of someone who has spent years on a field explaining a plan to teammates.

Our principles

• Zero hallucination — every number, date and quote traces to a real source filing. If we cannot source it, we do not publish it.
• English only— no jargon, no "AI-speak", no perfectly parallel bullet soup. We write the way an analyst would actually explain a company to a friend.
• No tips — we publish analysis, not calls. You make your own decisions.
• Transparent gaps — if a disclosure is missing or a number is not available, we say so on the page. Honest gaps over fake completeness.
